We enjoyed a fantastic day in Punchestown last Sunday for our first pony club Hunter Trials. The day started off with our Intro 60cm class and what a joy they were to watch. Most were graduates of the very popular autumn XC training league that ran through September. I think it is safe to say the jockeys had more faith in themselves and their first time out at a hunter trails than the parents running after them!!Our novice classes were full of happy faces on the return home and what a pleasure it was to see so many gaining great confidence out cross country. The same for Juniors and Senior Competitions where this Hunter Trials gave members the opportunity to maybe try a new level and also have some fun by pairing up with friends and taking on the lovely track.There were over 200 competitors between all the classes. People travelled from pony clubs near and some from as far away as Sligo, Leitrim and Co. Cavan! A big 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮 to all of you who travelled to and supported our event, we really appreciate it. A big thank you also to everyone who helped on the day, it makes such a difference.
